Numerous items that vanished in the course of the last decades include those whose application can be recreated only with considerable difficulty. The presented exhibit, probably specially commissioned, is composed of a small revolving mirror with a silver handle and up to now has been associated with toiletry-hygienic operations, but its purpose could have been much wider. It could have been used for observing concealed, inaccessible and badly lit objects or simply for peeping. Today, it remains hard to define its function.
