The book published by the Museum and authored by Prof. Bożena Popiołek entitled "Rituals of Everyday Life. The World of the Noble Court in the 18th-century Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth" won the second prize in the Karol Modzelewski Historical Book of the Year competition in the 2023 edition.

The project "Garden needs – culinary and garden workshops for families", 2nd place in the 16th edition of the Willow Masovian Museum Events competition 2022
The project "Garden needs – culinary and garden workshops for families" took the second place in the 16th edition of the Willow Masovian Museum Events competition 2022 in the Educational Project category. As part of the project, the Museum encouraged participants to visit the production garden and through contact with fresh plants to activate their imagination and creative sensitivity. The curator of the project is Martyna Przedpolewska, it was implemented by a team of engaged chefs and culinary and nature educators.

The book "The Portrait in Old Poland" by Prof. Jan K. Ostrowski received one of the equal honours in the competition for the KLIO Award in the Editorial category (2020). The author of the graphic design is Wojciech Staniewski.

The project "A Place at the Royal Table", Europa Nostra award 2019
Among the winners of the Europa Nostra 2019 award in the Education, Training and Awareness-raising category was the excellent "A Place at the Royal Table", a project of the Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów. The winners were honoured at the prestigious Cultural Heritage Awards ceremony on 29 October 2019 in Paris at the European Congress of Cultural Heritage. "A Place at the Royal Table" is an initiative of the Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów, which aimed to share experience and knowledge about the culinary history of royal courts. Thanks to workshops, outdoor events and scientific conferences organised by the Museum, awareness of the culinary traditions and customs of European courts has increased. The project was implemented as part of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, together with similar activities in royal palaces across Europe, affiliated to the Network of European Royal Residences http://www.europeanroyalresidences.eu/

The programme "What's that? Who's that?'", a series of workshops for children with autism spectrum disorders, 3rd Prize of Warsaw Cultural Education
The 3rd Prize of Warsaw Cultural Education in the Cultural Institutions and Museums category was awarded to the programme "What's that? Who's that?," a series of workshops for children on the autism spectrum. The classes allow participants to get to know the Wilanów residence, and provide an opportunity to encounter art and old customs, inspiring them to take up artistic activities. The programme is curated by Marta Walewska, classes are taught by the educators Magdalena Maria Borowczak, Magdalena Magenta, and Karolina Sawicka.

Certificate of the Best Tourist Product of the Masovian Voivodeship 2018
The Museum received the certificate on 18 October 2018 during the 9th annual Masovian Development Forum. The purpose of the competition organised by the Masovian Regional Tourism Organisation is to select the most attractive, innovative and tourist-friendly tourist products of the year, as well as to support regional and local initiatives to develop competitive products of Masovia. -
The EPICO project (European Protocol in Preventive Conservation), European Union Europa Nostra Award 2018 in the Research category.
The EPICO (European Protocol in Preventive Conservation) project has been awarded the Europa Nostra 2018 European Union Award in the Research category. The project aimed to develop a universal methodology for preventive care of collections exhibited in historical sites and residential museums. In 2015-2017, researchers from Versailles, Venaria Reale and the Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów, working in the Network of European Royal Residences (ARRE), analysed the relationship between the state of preservation of historical objects and the environment in which they are located, taking into account the architecture, interior design and climatic conditions, as well as the social and educational role of the historical residence.

The Royal Garden of Light, distinction in the competition of the Polish Tourism Organisation for the Best Tourist Product 2017
The Royal Garden of Light won a distinction in the competition of the Polish Tourism Organisation for the Best Tourist Product 2017. The Polish Tourism Organisation awarded a gold certificate, 10 certificates and only one distinction, for the Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów for the Royal Garden of Light. 45 tourist attractions from all over the country took part in the final stage of the competition. -
The programme "Scriptorium Villa Nova", an award in the competition for the most developmental initiative for children aged 0-14 years in Warsaw
The educational programme "Scriptorium Villa Nova" was again awarded in the competition for the most developmental initiative for children aged 0-14 years in Warsaw, organised by the website Czasdzieci.pl. The Sunflowers 2017 award (voted by parents) was won by our regular calligraphy courses entitled "Calligraphy – an (un)forgotten art".

The educational programme "Scriptorium Villa Nova" received the Warsaw Cultural Education Award 2016 in the Art Institutions and Museums category (2nd place). The award ceremony took place on 12 October 2016 in the newly opened Creativity Centre at Targowa Street. -
2nd place in the Icebreakers 2016 competition in the Institutions category for "special social sensitivity and promoting the activity of people with disabilities in various areas of life".
The Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów took the 2nd place in the Icebreakers 2016 competition in the Institutions category for "special social sensitivity and promoting the activity of people with disabilities in various areas of life". According to the awards committee, the activity of the Museum in the field of professional and social rehabilitation of people with disabilities is a model worthy of imitation.

Ambassador of the Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities
Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów in 2015 was awarded the title of Ambassador to the Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities during the 1st Congress of Persons with Disabilities. This award is of particular importance to us, because it was awarded by a community that is extremely demanding and at the same time the most competent to evaluate actions related to accessibility, by people with disabilities and non-governmental organisations. -

Paweł Jaskanis, director of the Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów, received the annual award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the category of Heritage Protection. The official presentation of the statuettes took place on May 29, 2014 at the Stanisławowski Theatre in Łazienki Królewskie in Warsaw.

The Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów was honoured with the statuette of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for the implementation of the project "Revitalisation and digitisation of the 17th-century palace and garden complex at Wilanów – stage III" co-financed by the European Union (EUIPO) in the amount of 21 million PLN – November 21, 2013.

The exhibition "Primus inter pares" won the competition for the Museum Event of the Year Sybilla 2013 in the Historical and Archaeological Exhibitions category. This was the 34th annual competition of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage highlighting the best and most important events in Polish museums. The exhibition was held from 23 April to 8 December 2013.

The book "Portrait of Poland. Tradition and Historical Consciousness" by Krystyna Gutowska-Dudek, a long-time curator of the painting collection at the Wilanów Museum, was awarded the KLIO Award 2013 in the Editorial category. The author of the graphic design is Prof. Maciej Buszewicz. The thesis "Stemmata in the publishing frame of prints from the Old Polish period, a study of the phenomenon" authored by Bartłomiej Czarski, distinction in the competition for the best doctoral dissertation for the years 2011-2013 on the Baroque era The doctoral dissertation of Bartłomiej Czarski, on the basis of which the Museum published the volume "Stemmata in the publishing frame of prints from the Old Polish period, a study of the phenomenon", was awarded in the competition for the best doctoral dissertation for the years 2011-2013 concerning the Baroque era. The work "Stemmata in the publishing frame of prints from the Old Polish period, a study of the phenomenon" was written under the direction of Prof. Dr Hab. Barbara Milewska-Waźbińska. -
