The Museum organises temporary exhibitions, conferences and seminars, conducts scientific research, publishes books and magazines, organises educational classes and shares knowledge online, actively participating in the debate on the cultural landscape and sustainable development. It also introduces innovative technologies that support the care of the Museum's collections and resources, as well as their access and presentation to the public.

The Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów operates on the basis, among others, of the statute granted by the order of the Minister of Culture, National Heritage and Sport of 28 May 2021.
