Scope of application of the Regulation

The processing of personal data in the Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów is regulated by the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation); hereinafter referred to as "GDPR”.

Data controller

The Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów is the administrator of personal data. In accordance with the GDPR, the Museum is responsible for compliance with the principles of personal data protection.

Data Protection Officer

Based on Article 37 section 1 GDPR The Director of the Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów appointed Mr Maciej Byczkowski as the data protection officer. Data subjects may contact the data protection officer in all matters related to the processing of their personal data and the exercise of their rights under the GDPR.

The data protection officer ensures full confidentiality of communication with data subjects. Pursuant to Article 38 section 5 of the Regulation, the data protection officer is obliged to maintain secrecy or confidentiality regarding the performance of his tasks – in accordance with Union law or the law of a Member State.

Newsletter subscribers

Information on the processing of personal data of newsletter subscribers.

1. The administrator of the data of persons registered in the newsletter database is the Museum of King Jan III's Palace in Wilanów, based at ul. Stanisława Kostki Potockiego 10/16 in Warsaw. You can contact the Museum via e-mail: sklep@muzeum-wilanow.pl or in writing to the registered office address indicated above.

2. The Museum has appointed a data protection officer who can be contacted via e-mail: iod@muzeum-wilanow.pl in all matters relating to the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights related to data processing.

3. Subscribers' data will be processed in order to send information about events organized at the Museum.

4. The legal basis for data processing is consent to their processing expressed by entering and sending the e-mail address in the Newsletter registration field.

5. The data will be processed for the duration of the subscription. You can unsubscribe from the Newsletter at any time by sending information to the e-mail address provided in the content of the received messages.

6. Data may be transferred to entities processing data on behalf of the Museum in the scope of operating IT systems - such entities process data as subcontractors, based on an agreement with the Museum and only in accordance with its instructions.

7. Each subscriber has the right to: access their data, rectify it, delete it and limit its processing.

8. In order to exercise the above rights, please contact the Museum or the designated data protection officer (contact details indicated above).

9. Each subscriber also has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

10. Providing data when registering for the newsletter is voluntary.

Information on the processing of personal data

1. The administrator of personal data provided in the contact form is the Museum of King Jan III's Palace in Wilanów, based at ul. Stanisława Kostki Potockiego 10/16 in Warsaw. 2. The Museum has appointed a data protection officer who can be contacted via e-mail: iod@muzeum-wilanow.pl in all matters relating to the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights related to data processing.

3. The collected data will be processed for the purposes of sending answers to submitted inquiries - the legal basis in this case is the legitimate interest of the Museum, referred to in Art. 6 section 1 letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

4. The data will be stored for a period of up to 12 months from the moment of sending the response to the submitted inquiry.

5. Data may also be transferred to entities processing personal data on behalf of the Museum, including: those operating IT systems and sending mailings; such entities process data on the basis of an agreement with the Museum and only in accordance with its instructions.

6. Each person has the right to access their data, request their rectification, deletion or limit their processing, as well as the right to object to the processing of data if they are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the Museum referred to in point 3.

7. In order to exercise the above rights, please contact the Museum or the data protection officer (contact details indicated above).

8. Each person also has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

9. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to send a response. If they are not provided, a reply to the received correspondence will not be sent.

Project "Once upon a time in Wilanów"

Information on the processing of personal data of participants of the "Once Upon a Time in Wilanów" project / authors / heirs of the materials / people portrayed in the materials

1. The administrator of the data provided in the form for submitting photos and in the declaration regarding consent to transfer rights to the Materials and consent to use images is the Museum of King Jan III's Palace in Wilanów with its registered office: ul. Stanisława Kostki Potockiego 10/16, 02-958 Warszawa. You can contact the Museum via e-mail: sklep@muzeum-wilanow.pl or in writing to the registered office address indicated above.

2. The Museum has appointed a data protection officer who can be contacted via e-mail: iod@muzeum-wilanow.pl in all matters relating to the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights related to data processing.

3. The collected data will be processed for the purposes of:
a. contact details related to the implementation of the social archive project "Once upon a time in Wilanów";
b. related to documenting the consent given to the recording and dissemination of the image for the purposes of promotional activities related to the educational activities of the Museum.

4. Personal data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR"), on the basis of the legally justified interest of the Museum referred to in Art. 6 section 1 letter f GDPR - which is:
a. contact purposes related to the implementation of the social archive project;
b. exercising the rights obtained on the basis of consent granted to the recording and dissemination of the image and demonstrating compliance with the conditions for permissible dissemination of the image;
c. defense against possible allegations of illegality of actions and claims in this respect.

5. Access to the data will be available to authorized Museum employees and processing entities entrusted with data processing under a contract for the purposes of providing services to the Museum, in particular entities such as IT solution providers, but only to the extent necessary for the proper performance of these services.

6. Personal data provided on the photo submission form will be stored for a period of up to 12 months from the moment of sending the application.

7. Personal data provided in the declaration of consent to the transfer of rights to the Materials and consent to the use of images will be stored until the limitation period for claims for unlawful dissemination of the image of the person presented expires.

8. Every person has the right to: access their data, request their rectification, deletion and limit their processing, as well as express an objection in the case of data processing based on the legitimate interest referred to in point 4.

9. In order to exercise the above rights, please contact the Museum or the data protection officer (contact details indicated in points 1 and 2).

10. Each person also has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

11. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary for the purposes of participation in the social archive project, including for evidentiary purposes to demonstrate obtaining the above-mentioned consent to the recording and dissemination of the image.
