As part of the project “Social education in the conflict between urbanisation and ecology at the Wilanów Palace Museum”, many events were planned, including events WITHOUT BARRIERS (available for people with impairments).
One such event was nature walks. As part of the Wilanów Days, two barrier-free walks took place: translated into Polish Sign Language (WPM) and with audio description.
The theme of the walks not only attracted a large group of nature lovers, but also attracted truly summer weather. In such circumstances, it was even more enjoyable to listen to stories about native and foreign species, about flying inhabitants of Wilanów gardens: birds, dragonflies and pollinating insects, and about biodiversity in historic gardens.
The project “Social education in the conflict between urbanisation and ecology at the Wilanów Palace Museum” was carried out thanks to the support provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area.
