Learn the history of the residence of King Jan III and learn about the historic interiors, the most interesting exhibits and the former inhabitants of the Palace! We have divided the stories into four themes and adapted them to the different needs of our guests, appropriate for their interests and age. And we have assigned different colours to the paths to make them easier to use.
- Interiors and collection [main path, gold] - information about the most important exhibits, history and symbolism of Palace interiors.
- Women at Wilanów [red] - a story about the exceptional women who left their mark on the history of the Wilanów residence.
- The secrets of conservation [purple] - accounts of restoration work, combining new technologies with old artistic and artisanal methods.
- Visit with the King [path for children aged 6+, blue] - interesting facts about the owners of the Palace, their daily life and the objects they surrounded themselves with.
- All paths are available in Polish, English and Italian and recorded by professional voiceover actors. Devices with video recordings in Polish Sign Language are also available.
NOTE! The last rental of an audio guide is possible at 2.45 p.m.
Visit with an educator: lesson, workshops, theme walk
Are you planning to visit the Palace and gardens with children, or perhaps with a group of adult friends? Take advantage of the educational offer!
Choose a topic that interests you, invite family or friends and make an appointment for a walk or lesson with an educator. This proposal is not only for schools! It is also great for informal groups.
Take your children on an engaging visit to the King or Queen, learn old customs together or discover the secrets of Baroque art. Do you want to discover the secrets of nature? Meeting with an educator is a great way to spend time together, learn interesting things, and have fun!
Adults are sure to be drawn into stories about people and the times they lived in.
Are you more interested in artistic or cultural topics than just sightseeing? Or perhaps you love arts and crafts? Choose the option which best reflects your interests. During the meeting, you will be able to use educational materials, discuss topics, and ask questions that you are curious about.
It's a great idea to combine visiting the Palace and gardens with workshops – you can have a great time, and at the same time gain knowledge and new skills!

Visit individually
Take a leisurely walk around the Palace. Currently, you can visit the following areas: the Chinese and Hunting rooms, the Open Storage Gallery, the Princess Marshal Lubomirska's Anteroom and Parlour, the White Hall, the Royal Apartments, the Grand Vestibule with its collection of antiquities, the former rooms of the Sobieski family on the first floor of the Palace and the permanent exhibition in the galleries on the second floor of the Palace entitled "Art Collecting in the Potocki Family". Feel the atmosphere of the royal residence and marvel at the works of art and artistic crafts.
After visiting, get a breath of fresh air in the royal gardens, which will delight you with their diverse garden styles and wildlife.
After the tour, take a look at the Museum bookstore, where you will find a huge selection of books published by the Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanów. These feature not only by interesting content, but also beautiful graphic form and illustrations.
For dessert, we invite you to the royal cafe – it's the perfect complement to the perfect day!
