Access to the Museum
- The parking lot is located approximately 300 metres from the Palace.
- The most convenient way to get to the Palace is from the WILANÓW bus terminus: to get to the Museum, cross Powsińska street. The most convenient crossing are the lanes with traffic lights located next to the McDonald’s outlet. We cross the street, reach the fence, then turn right and continue walking straight along the pavement. Along the way, on the left we pass a number of buildings and a church, behind which the Museum area begins.
Museum ticket office
The museum ticket office is located in the building at Stanisława Kostki Potockiego street. You go inside by the stairs. For people with mobility difficulties, there is a post with a special button in front of the ticket office. After pressing the button, a ticket office employee will contact you.
For people in wheelchairs
- The ground floor of the Palace and the park are accessible to people in wheelchairs. The Museum has foldable ramps to facilitate entry and exit from the Palace and movement around the ground floor of the Palace. IMPORTANT! Due to the historical nature of the place, not all thresholds have been removed yet, and the length of the ramps that we can use in the current conditions allows us to achieve a slope angle at the entrance and exit of 24%. Therefore, people in wheelchairs are asked to come to the Museum with an accompanying person.
- Attention! Due to temporary technical difficulties, people using electric wheelchairs are temporarily unable to enter the Palace. The inconvenience will be removed as soon as possible.
- The first floor of the Palace and the Banqueting Hall and level -1 are not accessible to wheelchair users.
The Orangery
- Only level 0 is available to visitors.
- Steps with a total height of 36 cm lead to the visitor entrance. Additionally, at the entrance there is a 6 cm high threshold. The Museum has foldable ramps to facilitate entry and exit from the Orangery.
- The space in the Orangery is large and accessible to people in wheelchairs.
Pump House
- The Pump House building is not accessible to people in wheelchairs.
- The building is accessed by a road with an uneven surface; the space in front of the building is paved with split granite cubes.
- In front of the entrance door there is a 7 cm high threshold.
- Inside the building, there are stairs leading from the entrance area to the main area of the Pump House where the workshops take place (85 cm to negotiate). Currently, it is not possible to climb these stairs. In accordance with the audit recommendations, the installation of a lift is being considered.
Villa Intrata
- The access to the building has an uneven surface – granite cubes with a split surface.
- The Villa Intrata building is not accessible to people in wheelchairs due to the stairs located at each of the three entrances to the building.
- An architectural accessibility audit has been performed for the building and we are working on implementing the optimal solution.
Information for people with baby prams
- People visiting the Museum with children in baby prams (pushchairs or strollers) are asked to leave the baby prams in a specially allocated cloakroom. Due to the historical nature of the place and the small size of most rooms, entering the palace with a baby pram is not possible.
- When visiting the Palace, the Museum rents baby carriers. They are available in the cloakroom. Employees will help you tie them, and instructions for use are also prepared.
