At the royal table – culinary workshops
Is it easy to stage a royal feast? Find out by preparing Jan III's favourite dishes and learning the rules of the 17th-century savoir-vivre.
Thanks to culinary workshops and elements of education about table culture, the cuisine of King Jan III will become more familiar to us. We will find out what dishes appeared on the table of the ruler and which of them he liked the most, how feasts were prepared in the 17th century, and what savoir-vivre rules had to be followed at that time. We will create royal dishes according to recipes that have survived from that time, and at the end we will set the table and sit down to a shared feast.
Classes are especially recommended for students of gastronomic schools.
