Installing an air-conditioning system in the Orangery basement ensured strict control over temperature and humidity levels in three independent sections of the laboratory. Such a solution makes it possible to adjust the ambient conditions to the requirements of the scanned exhibits. Stabilising the conditions throughout the measurement process is also critical for keeping the highest measurement parameters (among others, extending the durability of the calibration of the scanning system). The installation of a professional air-conditioning system is the last step towards expanding the technical infrastructure of the 3D scanning laboratory. Due to the implementation of this project, the Wilanów Palace Museum has achieved the optimum use of space for 3D and multi-spectrum measurement. Having spaces thoroughly redeveloped in line with the highest standards, instead of temporarily adapted spaces, enables us to scan the most valuable treasures of the Polish cultural heritage in perfect condition.
