Andrzej Schlüter's artistic achievements occupy an important place in the history of modern European sculpture. He began his artistic career in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of Jan III Sobieski. The master's talent and skills quickly earned him orders abroad. An outstanding researcher of Polish modern art and the author of this publication, Professor Mariusz Karpowicz, called Andrzej Schlüter the sculptor of kings not only because of his work for crowned patrons, but also in recognition of the artist's excellent work.
