Product description
The next volume in the Ad Villam Novam series presents archival resources related to the Old Polish era, which are poorly known by historians, and are located in the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Minsk. Two extensive sets are of particular value to researchers: the Sobieski Archive from Oława, lost in 1945 in Berlin, which was found in the late 1990s in the archive in Minsk, and that part of the Radziwiłł Archive from Nieśwież, which remained in the capital Belarus. The author, Krzysztof Kossarzecki, prepared copies of the documents and provided them with an extensive discussion. The text is enriched with reproductions of inventory pages.
