Product description

Author: Patrycja Paulina Żołędowska, Nela Kokoszka

We invite you on a journey through an extraordinary place – the gardens of King Jan III’s palace in Wilanów. Take the Diary with you to learn 23 landscape architecture concepts, then tackle exercises and challenges. The names of concepts in the field of landscape architecture were composed by hand and stamped in a typesetter* using wooden fonts** (so-called Wooden fonts). Each clog, and therefore the letters that make up the names of the concepts in this Notebook, are unique.
*typesetter - a place where texts are composed by hand from type.
**font - a printing block with a head in the shape of a single letter or other writing character, it can be made of wood, steel or lead. Invented in the Far East in the 11th century, widely used in Europe since the 15th century. In the early 1990s it was replaced by computer fonts.
